A well-established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a variety of infrastructure and site development projects throughout the Baltimore area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in asphalt paving, sitework, utilities, and roadway construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
- Track project costs, change orders, and overall project performance
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Maintain communication with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Background in asphalt paving, site development, utilities, roadway, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with project management and cost tracking software preferred
