What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for a variety of construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and material pricing
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and clients during preconstruction
- Prepare bid proposals and support project handoff upon award
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners
- Track market trends, labor costs, and material pricing
What We're Looking For
- Experience as an Electrical Estimator within the electrical construction industry
- Strong understanding of commercial, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical construction
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of estimating software and takeoff platforms
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
