Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years working in a project surveying role or serving in a leadership or supervisory position within a surveying environment.
  • Strong capability in the use of AutoCAD and Civil3D or Carlson Survey software for drafting and data management tasks.
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation and the ability to operate within that platform when needed.
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications-specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel-for communication, documentation, and data organization.
  • Understanding of GPS data collection processes, including the ability to review, interpret, and process GPS-derived information.
  • Knowledge of field‑to‑finish workflows and the ability to support seamless transitions between field data collection and final deliverables.
  • Highly motivated individual who can initiate tasks independently, stay organized, and follow established workflows and standards without constant direction.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with both field teams and office staff to support project accuracy and efficiency.
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites, meetings, or other work‑related locations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to various audiences.
  • Comfortable working with design engineers, clients, contractors, and members of the public, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Capable of working autonomously, managing priorities, and completing tasks with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities (Expanded & Rewritten):

  • Review, organize, and process survey data on a daily basis using CADD platforms and dedicated surveying software to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Oversee and coordinate assignments for field crews, including task scheduling and workflow planning, to keep projects on schedule and within allocated budgets.
  • Perform detailed boundary research, evaluate title documentation, and prepare precise legal descriptions as part of project deliverables.
  • Contribute to financial planning by monitoring project budgets, managing expenses, and implementing cost‑control measures as required.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, project managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and technical needs are thoroughly addressed.
