Project Surveyor | New York
A nationally recognized engineering, surveying, and geospatial consulting firm is actively seeking Project Surveyors across several New York offices. Due to a growing project backlog, the team is expanding and looking for survey professionals who want to work on complex transportation, utility, aviation, and land development projects throughout the region.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze deeds, maps, and record documents to prepare boundary surveys and property line determinations.
- Perform quality control reviews of survey plans, reports, and project deliverables.
- Complete survey calculations for subdivisions, roadways, utilities, and site development projects.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors across a variety of project types.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of surveying experience.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and/or Trimble Business Center (TBC).
- Experience with survey production, boundary analysis, and project coordination.
- LSIT or PLS is a plus, but not required.
- Candidates with strong technical, design, and production experience will be considered regardless of licensure status.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
