Overview

A leading utility infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead operations, business development, and project execution across the Western Region. This role is responsible for the overall performance of a growing business unit, including strategic planning, financial results, client relationships, and operational leadership.

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of utility infrastructure projects with a strong focus on substation construction, transmission and distribution systems, grid modernization, and related electrical infrastructure programs. This individual will play a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening customer partnerships, and supporting long-term regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for all regional operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable project execution.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with utility clients, engineering consultants, developers, and other strategic partners throughout the Western Region.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while supporting regional growth and market expansion initiatives.
Oversee multiple utility infrastructure projects, including substation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy-related work.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements.
Lead regional financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, revenue growth, and profitability.
Collaborate with utility customers to support capital improvement programs and long-term infrastructure initiatives.
Direct resource planning, staffing, equipment allocation, and operational priorities across the region.
Support recruiting, employee development, succession planning, and leadership growth initiatives.
Maintain a strong culture of safety, operational excellence, quality, and accountability.
Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience within utility construction, power delivery, electrical infrastructure, or EPC environments.
Strong understanding of substation construction, utility systems, transmission and distribution operations, and power delivery projects.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with utility customers and key industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated success managing large project portfolios, regional operations, and business performance.
Experience with financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and profit-and-loss responsibility.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
