A leading civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Stormwater Drainage Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join their Water Resources team in Orlando or Miami. This hybrid role offers technical depth, project ownership, and flexible work arrangements - ideal for professionals seeking impact and balance.
Responsibilities
Lead drainage scope development, design, permitting, and post-design support.
Manage design and CAD staff with oversight from senior engineers.
Deliver innovative solutions across diverse projects, including:
Pond siting and final design in Palm Beach County
Canal culvert widening in Florida City
Bridge reconstruction with French drain systems (FDOT D6)
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of stormwater modeling and design experience.
Proficiency in ICPR, SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong knowledge of FDOT criteria and permitting processes.
Active PE license in Florida required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
