About the Role
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze wood-framed residential structures.
- Prepare structural calculations, engineering reports, and construction documents.
- Develop efficient and code-compliant structural solutions for wood and timber systems.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits.
- Assist with plan review comments and construction administration support.
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality engineering standards across projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience working on residential projects, preferably wood-framed structures.
- Strong understanding of wood and timber design principles.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction practices.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
- EIT certification preferred; PE track strongly encouraged.
- Strong communication skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
