Superintendent- Underground Utilities

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join a growing heavy civil contractor delivering underground utility and infrastructure projects throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area. This individual will play a key role in managing field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily construction activities on underground utility projects including water, wastewater, storm sewer, and drainage systems
* Manage field crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources to meet project schedules
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners throughout the construction process
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
* Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce all company and regulatory safety requirements
* Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and schedule planning sessions
* Track production, manpower, and project progress while identifying opportunities for improved efficiency
* Assist with project scheduling, material procurement, and resource planning
* Resolve field issues and coordinate solutions to keep projects moving forward

Requirements:

* 5+ years of Superintendent experience on underground utility construction projects
* Strong background in water, wastewater, storm sewer, and utility installation projects
* Experience managing craft labor, subcontractors, and multiple crews
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
* Knowledge of excavation, trench safety, utility installation, and heavy civil construction practices
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout the DFW area

Preferred Experience:

* Municipal infrastructure projects
* Large-diameter utility installation
* Water and wastewater treatment plant utility work
* Scheduling and production tracking experience
