Our client is an Australian business focused on supporting sustainability agriculture through carbon farming and natural capital management. Their mission to regenerate landscapes, empower landholders, and lead the transition to a climate-positive future.

They are looking for an experienced Agriculture Carbon Footprint Specialist to join their team!

Your Role in the Regeneration

As our Carbon Footprint Specialist, you'll play a key role in measuring, modelling, and managing greenhouse gas emissions across diverse farming systems. You'll work directly with producers, project developers, and technical teams to support the development of high-integrity carbon projects and regenerative land management strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct carbon footprint assessments using industry-recognised tools and methodologies.
  • Analyse emissions data and identify opportunities for carbon reduction and sequestration.
  • Support the design and implementation of carbon farming projects under frameworks like the Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs).
  • Collaborate with the company's science, technology, and landholder engagement teams.
  • Stay current with evolving carbon accounting standards, methodologies, and policy developments.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Climate Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in carbon accounting, life cycle analysis, or GHG modelling - ideally in agriculture or land use.
  • Familiarity with Australian agricultural systems and carbon farming frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for regenerative outcomes.
