An award-winning Architecture + Interiors firm local to Greater Boston is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their residential team! Projects will include single-family residential, custom homes, renovations, interiors, and furnishing. The ideal candidate will bring personality and a personal motivation to an innovative team dedicated to improving communities. As a designer, you will take control of drafting for your projects and show responsibility for project schedules and design quality.
Qualifications:
- 1-6 years of professional architecture experience
- Experience contributing to the delivery of residential projects
- Ability to hand-sketch
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Bring a collaborative and team-first mentality
- Ability to take direction and improve
- Detail oriented with strong time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of design quality, creativity, and professionalism
- Document existing building conditions and translate into CAD/Revit models
- Support schematic design through hand and digital renderings
- Revise drawings across project phases and assist with presentation materials
- Collaborate with architects to ensure design intent is reflected in drawings
- Review construction documents and shop drawings for accuracy and completeness
