The Building Enclosure Specialist will be responsible for:
- Lead high‑level technical analyses of enclosure assemblies, integrating field data, design documentation, and constructability considerations to develop clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams by providing direction on investigative strategies, technical approaches, quality expectations, and overall project execution from discovery through final deliverables.
- Ensure rigorous technical accuracy across all drawings, specifications, and written reports by conducting thorough reviews and advising on best practices for enclosure detailing and system performance.
- Facilitate strategic decision‑making for clients by translating complex enclosure issues into practical guidance, presenting findings confidently, and recommending pathways that balance durability, cost, and risk.
- Strengthen internal capabilities by mentoring developing staff, sharing industry knowledge, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that elevate the firm's enclosure expertise.
The Building Enclosure Specialist should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) credential
- Over 12 years of relevant industry experience
- Extensive expertise in building materials, building systems, construction methodologies, and building enclosure design
