About the Role
Our client, a leading civil engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. This role is ideal for an intermediate to senior-level engineer with a strong background in civil infrastructure projects and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, wind farms, and land development.
- Prepare and review detailed civil designs using 12d software (proficiency is essential).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project approvals and construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in 12d is a must.
- Demonstrated experience in civil projects such as road design, wind farm infrastructure, and land development.
- Strong understanding of Australian design standards and local council requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards it is highly desirable.
