Role Overview

This role is ideal for a highly networked professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, client engagement, and technical credibility. You will play a key role in expanding market presence across sectors such as higher education, healthcare, corporate office, mixed‑use, industrial, and municipal/transportation infrastructure, while remaining engaged with technical teams and active projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree
  • 8+ years of experience in technical market leadership and/or business development within the AEC industry
  • Proven success selling technical consulting services to architectural firms and municipal/public sector clients in Illinois
  • Strong background in business development planning, client development, presentations, and proposal preparation
  • Established architectural relationships strongly preferred
  • Technical project management experience is advantageous
  • Professional registration such as PE
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a consulting or professional services environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $120,000 - $155,000
  • Annual bonus eligibility
