Job Description: They are seeking an experienced and dynamic CMT Department Manager to lead the Fort Myers office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction materials testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving growth and excellence within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the CMT department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the department's capabilities and client base.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments and offices to support company-wide initiatives and projects.
- Prepare and manage department budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction materials testing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
