Construction Scheduler - Water Treatment Infrastructure

Location: New Hampshire

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure to support the planning and delivery of complex capital projects. This role is critical to ensuring schedules are accurate, realistic, and actively used to drive project performance from design through construction and commissioning.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and owners to develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules for treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related civil infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated CPM schedules for water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Establish baseline schedules and manage progress updates, logic revisions, and recovery schedules
  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float, and impact assessments
  • Support change management, claims analysis, and delay mitigation efforts
  • Coordinate schedule inputs with design, procurement, permitting, and construction teams
  • Prepare clear schedule narratives, look‑ahead schedules, and executive‑level reporting
  • Participate in project meetings and proactively identify schedule risks and opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a construction scheduler on infrastructure projects
  • Direct experience with water and/or wastewater treatment facilities (plants, pump stations, process upgrades, linear assets)
  • Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 (required); MS Project, NetPoint, SmartPM, Acumen Fuse, 4D/BIM software working knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement lead times, and commissioning activities
  • Experience working with contractors, consultants, and public‑sector or utility clients
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain schedule impacts to technical and non‑technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on municipal or utility‑owned capital programs
  • Familiarity with earned value analysis and schedule risk assessments
  • Knowledge of regulatory, permitting, and environmental constraints affecting water infrastructure projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
