Are you a senior valuation and forensics professional ready to lead and shape a growing practice? Join a respected, independent advisory firm in Central Florida as our Director of Forensics and Valuation. This is a high-impact leadership role working alongside the lead partner of our advisory team, with the opportunity to build and scale a valuation group from the ground up.
What You'll Do
As Director, you'll take ownership of a wide range of valuation and forensic engagements, including:
Business Valuation:
- Lead valuations for closely held businesses across a range of industries
- Prepare valuations for estate and gift tax, shareholder disputes, buy-sell agreements, and financial reporting
- Develop and review complex financial models, DCF analyses, market comps, and guideline public company methods
- Draft and review comprehensive valuation reports that meet IRS, legal, and industry standards
Forensic Accounting & Advisory:
- Conduct quality of earnings (QoE) analyses for M&A transactions
- Support litigation and dispute resolution with forensic investigations and expert witness preparation
- Analyze financial records to identify irregularities, misstatements, or fraud indicators
- Collaborate with legal counsel and clients on case strategy and findings
Practice Leadership:
- Help define and execute the strategic vision for the valuation and forensics practice
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering technical excellence and professional growth
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and networking

Who You Are
- A senior-level valuation expert with 8+ years of experience in business valuation and forensic accounting
- Proficient in estate & gift tax valuations, financial modeling, and quality of earnings analysis
- Experienced in managing client relationships and leading project teams
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and excited to build something meaningful
- CPA/ABV, ASA, CFA, or similar credentials strongly preferred
