Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and manage industrial electrical construction projects from inception to completion for one of the leading contractors in the state. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, proven leadership in industrial environments, and a deep understanding of project delivery within the MEP sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are upheld.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead project meetings and provide technical guidance to field teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and industrial safety practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be local to North Carolina or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with design-build and fast-track project delivery methods.
