Position Summary:
LVI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead energy-related projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, and budget, while driving business development and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Sales Leadership
- Drive business development efforts with a focus on expanding LVI's presence in the energy market.
- Act as a primary liaison with clients, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction.
- Provide expert guidance on technical practices and principles within the energy sector.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering the development of subject matter experts.
- Contribute to strategic planning and market growth initiatives.
Project & Program Management
- Develop and execute project plans aligned with client goals and market strategies.
- Build and maintain diverse, long-term client relationships.
- Lead project team selection and manage team workflows for optimal efficiency.
- Oversee meetings, public hearings, and industry events.
- Manage contract modifications, including change orders and addenda.
- Collaborate across practices and markets to enhance service delivery.
- Oversee project billing and ensure timely collection of fees.
- Make impactful decisions that influence market direction and operational success.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Assess staffing needs and ensure teams are equipped to meet project demands.
- Coordinate internal efforts to deliver seamless client service.
- Set and uphold performance standards aligned with company goals.
- Manage subconsultants and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the energy sector or on energy-related projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Licensed Professional Engineer or accredited energy professional.
- Experience in energy design and/or field operations.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
- CEM (Certified Energy Manager) Certification.
- Experience with local, regional, and national energy clients, including ESCOs.
- Proven track record in project management and business development.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
