This role focuses on structural design for transportation-related bridge projects serving state, county, and municipal clients. Key Responsibilities
Lead and support structural design for bridges, retaining walls, sea walls, roadways, and underground utilities
Prepare engineering plans and specifications in accordance with State DOT standards
Contribute to the development of project proposals and technical approaches
Assist in the delivery of federally funded transportation projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple regional offices
Make informed engineering decisions to support project managers and ensure successful project execution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural coursework
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation bridge design for public sector clients
Proficiency in MicroStation and structural analysis software is preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and travel within the firm's service regions (personal transportation required)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 base, commensurate with experience, skills, and certifications
