About the Role

The studio is looking for an architect / Project manager who excels in both design thinking and technical execution, with a passion for shaping the future of healthcare environments-from acute care to ambulatory settings.

You'll help lead concept development, guide technical solutions, and support projects from early planning through construction administration. This role is ideal for someone energized by the unique challenges of healthcare-clinical flow, regulatory complexity, evidence‑based design-and who thrives in a collaborative, mission‑driven studio.

You'll play a key part in delivering projects that improve operational efficiency, elevate patient dignity, and support clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revit and standard design/visualization software
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare codes, systems, and regulatory frameworks (OSHPD/HCAI experience highly valued)
  • Ability to manage your workload and contribute meaningfully within a fast‑paced, design‑focused environment
  • Comfort working closely with interdisciplinary teams, consultants, clinical stakeholders, and project leadership
  • Architectural Licensed

Background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (preferred)
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with California healthcare regulations (HCAI/OSHPD); additional experience with California health systems or hospital networks is a plus
  • U.S. architectural license required
  • Occasional travel for project or client needs
