HVAC Account Executive
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented HVAC Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team serving the Washington DC-Baltimore corridor. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and driving sales growth for HVAC systems and services across commercial, institutional, and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, building owners, and facility managers.
- Promote HVAC solutions including equipment, controls, retrofits, and maintenance contracts.
Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and presentations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
Technical & Commercial Expertise
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop proposals and estimates.
- Stay current on HVAC technologies, energy efficiency trends, and local building codes.
Sales Process & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity updates for management.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in HVAC, building automation, or mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and energy solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the DC-Baltimore region.
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of HVAC or building systems sales experience.
- Familiarity with LEED, energy efficiency programs, and utility rebates.
- Experience working with commercial real estate, healthcare, education, or government clients.
