Position Summary:
We're hiring a Roadway Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation improvement projects. This role is well‑suited for early‑career to mid‑level engineers, whether you're a recent graduate, an EIT, a licensed PE, or working toward licensure. If you're looking for hands‑on design experience and long‑term career growth, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop roadway design elements including horizontal/vertical geometry, plan sheets, and cross‑sections
- Prepare design documents, quantity estimates, and supporting technical analyses
- Coordinate with internal teams in traffic, drainage, structures, and other disciplines
- Participate in field reviews and assist with construction support activities
- Ensure designs meet project standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 3-7 years of roadway/transportation engineering experience
- PE (or actively pursuing) preferred but not required
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, or comparable design platforms
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
