Landscape Architect - Project Manager

A leading Denver‑based land development consulting firm is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to take on a high‑impact role supporting and growing its multidisciplinary practice. Known for delivering thoughtful, well‑crafted design solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use development projects, this firm offers a collaborative environment and the chance to influence both design direction and business strategy.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys balancing design oversight, project management, and client-facing responsibilities. You will play a key role in shaping site and landscape concepts while cultivating long-term relationships across the Front Range development community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead landscape architecture efforts on land development projects including site planning, community design, amenity concepts, and planting/irrigation strategies.
  • Manage projects from concept through construction, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee and mentor junior designers, providing guidance on technical design, graphics, and project coordination.
  • Drive business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and participation in industry events.
  • Collaborate closely with civil engineers, planners, and external partners to deliver integrated and buildable design solutions.
  • Represent the firm professionally with municipalities, developers, and contractors.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio of work on development-driven projects.
  • Licensure as a Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
  • Proven project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding design staff.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Front Range municipalities, development processes, and regional design trends preferred.
