Mechanical Estimator (Baltimore Based)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with Quote Soft estimating software and a solid background in piping and plumbing estimating. This is a hybrid position, requiring both remote work and occasional site/project visits within the DMV region.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate mechanical estimates (piping and plumbing) using Quote Soft.
Review drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work.
Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and project handoffs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical estimating (piping and plumbing).
Proficiency in Quote Soft is required.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods.
Familiarity with building codes, industry standards, and regional market pricing (DMV).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
