What You'll Do
As our Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead mission-critical commercial construction projects from discovery and design through development and implementation.
- Uphold and enforce company safety standards across all project phases.
- Ensure all project workflows align with company policies and operational guidelines.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions directly with clients.
- Track and communicate project progress using updated schedules and reporting.
- Maintain strict adherence to the project Quality Control Plan.
- Support project teams in resolving scope challenges with subcontractors.
- Assign, manage, and evaluate field staff across multiple projects.
- Identify and negotiate time extensions when warranted.
- Drive business development by securing new work and nurturing existing client partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the subcontractor community.
- Oversee timely and accurate project closeout processes.
- Lead the preconstruction and RFP process in partnership with internal Preconstruction teams.
- Delegate effectively to ensure smooth execution of all project tasks.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor (required).
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
- Additional relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Proven experience winning or securing at least one new client.
- Strong ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
