Phoenix Industrial Automation Engineer
Position Summary
We're looking for a motivated Controls Integrator/Programmer with 4+ years of industrial automation experience to support process control projects across municipal, industrial, and mining sectors. This role blends PLC/HMI/SCADA development, control system design support, and field commissioning. Key Responsibilities
- Review control system documentation and project requirements.
- Assist with selecting materials, hardware, and control components.
- Work directly with clients to refine system needs, improve reliability, and provide training.
- Program and debug PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems across various platforms.
- Troubleshoot logic, communications, instrumentation, and control panel issues.
- Support SCADA database configuration and basic cybersecurity measures.
- Participate in FATs, field testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare and update O&M materials and project documentation.
- Maintain programming tools, templates, and development processes.
- Coordinate with project teams on QA/QC and ensure consistency across deliverables.
- Travel as needed for onsite work and commissioning.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of process control or automation experience.
- Hands‑on background with Allen‑Bradley, Modicon, and Wonderware platforms.
- Experience supporting industrial applications such as mining or water/wastewater.
- BSEE preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
