PLS/LSIT
A professional services firm is seeking a Licensed Surveyor or LSIT to join its Chesterfield office. This role involves managing client interactions, ensuring technical quality, and coordinating the scheduling of survey crews. The selected candidate will oversee and perform design-related surveying projects using industry-standard software, including AutoCAD.
Projects may include boundary surveys, topographical mapping, construction stakeout, control networking, and high-definition surveys. The firm supports a wide range of sectors, including residential, industrial, commercial, multifamily, recreational, governmental, and utility projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in surveying calculations and will collaborate with a team of licensed survey professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute boundary, topographical, construction stakeout, control networking, and high-definition surveys.
- Perform calculations using standard surveying formulas.
- Utilize AutoCAD and GPS/RTK technology for project execution.
- Collaborate with a team of licensed survey professionals to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- LSIT certification required; Licensed Surveyor (L.S.) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional surveying experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and GPS/RTK systems.
- Experience with Leica Survey Collection software is a plus.
