The Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial and industrial plumbing projects from pre‑construction through completion. This role is responsible for driving project performance across scheduling, budgeting, coordination, quality, and client satisfaction.
You will work closely with internal teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plumbing projects from contract award through close‑out
- Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and cash flow
- Coordinate engineering, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Oversee scope reviews, change orders, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and contract requirements
- Track project costs, forecasts, and profitability
- Lead project meetings, site reviews, and progress updates
- Support commissioning, final documentation, and project handover
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within plumbing or mechanical construction
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installations, and construction workflows
- Experience delivering commercial or industrial plumbing projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with large‑scale or technically complex plumbing systems
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Familiarity with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments is a plus
