Position Summary:
The company is seeking a Project Engineer to support its Industrial Water/Wastewater team within a specialized design-build group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects that improve water infrastructure for industrial clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and design support for industrial water and wastewater projects, including treatment systems, pipelines, and pump stations.
- Conduct engineering evaluations, prepare reports, develop design drawings and specifications, and manage permitting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and vendors on-site to support project execution and resolve technical challenges.
- Interpret and apply regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions to ensure compliance in project designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial water/wastewater engineering design.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools such as Bentley® WaterGEMS/WaterCAD and GIS platforms like Esri® ArcGIS.
- Understanding of treatment process modeling and system hydraulics.
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and within teams.
- Familiarity with stormwater, water, and wastewater modeling and relevant civil design regulations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening requirements.
Preferred Experience:
Field experience at industrial facilities is a plus.
