Project Manager
A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects. Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance.
- Manage project financial, including profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Lead RFIs, submittals, change orders, and design coordination efforts.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, fabrication, and field resources.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying future project opportunities.
- Provide guidance and oversight to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of project management experience within mechanical construction.
- Experience leading projects up to $15M in value.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and estimating software experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
