Building Automation Programmer (Remote - US Based)
Compensation: Up to $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
We're looking for an experienced Building Automation Programmer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working independently, and collaborating with field teams to deliver reliable, well‑engineered control solutions.
What You'll Do
Develop, program, and troubleshoot building automation and control systems across commercial facilities
Create and modify graphics, logic, and sequences of operation
Support commissioning teams with remote diagnostics, tuning, and system optimization
Interpret engineering drawings, submittals, and device schedules
Provide technical guidance to project managers, technicians, and customers
Maintain documentation and ensure programming aligns with project specifications and industry standards
What We're Looking For
Strong experience with at least one major BAS platform (Niagara, Alerton, Tridium, Distech, Automated Logic, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or similar)
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, networking fundamentals, and control theory
Ability to work effectively with remote teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
US work authorization and residency
A detail‑oriented, methodical approach to programming and problem‑solving
