What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and implementing PLC- and HMI‑based control systems, with a focus on SEL RTAC platforms and Ignition Perspective
- Writing clean, well‑organized, thoroughly documented PLC code that performs reliably
- Creating intuitive, user-friendly HMI interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to navigate
- Serving as the technical lead on projects, working directly with client engineering teams to define and implement automation solutions
- Breaking complex control system tasks into manageable pieces, providing guidance to junior engineers, and ensuring consistent technical direction
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or a related engineering field - or equivalent industry experience
- 3-7 years of experience developing PLC‑based SCADA systems in a project‑driven environment
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience programming PLCs, developing HMI interfaces, and building SCADA solutions
- Practical experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition Perspective platform
- Experience programming SEL RTAC devices
- Background working with solar, renewable energy, or electrical power systems (PV, BESS, etc.)
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for site visits, commissioning, or client engagements
