Remote Industrial Designer
Position Overview
We're looking for a skilled design professional to support the development of electrical design packages for industrial projects. This role involves creating detailed drawings, maintaining design standards, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and documentation using advanced CAD tools.
- Interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design layouts.
- Maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Develop schematics, diagrams, and graphical representations of electrical components.
- Support project teams by providing technical input and design solutions.
- Mentor junior designers and assist with technical development.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training in design engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical drafting and CAD design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related tools.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Compensation
