Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Architectural Science & Tech Project Manager to join their NYC team. This role involves leading interview presentations, building and strengthening client relationships, and supporting public meetings. As a leader, you will motivate, recognize, and elevate the project team. This position offers growth opportunities within the firm and exposure to a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, project teams, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Estimate design fees, define project scope, solicit consultant proposals, and prepare comprehensive team proposals and contracts for Partner or Associate Partner review.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest satisfaction.
- Oversee project budgets, meeting minutes, client expectations, schedules, project communications, documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments.
- Provide technical expertise and oversee document development for various projects.
- Ensure quality control on all design team deliverables.
- Lead the project team to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to assign and manage project staffing needs.
- Mentor and oversee the work of less experienced technical staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, construction administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Bluebeam, MS Office Suite (including MS Project), Deltek, and NewForma. REVIT experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Architectural licensure is a plus, but not required.
- Experience delivering complex science and technology projects is preferred.
