About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead a portfolio of restoration and envelope projects across NYC, guiding both technical direction and client communication. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, project leadership, and hands‑on problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead building envelope and restoration projects from assessment through construction close‑out
- Manage small project teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Oversee FISP inspections, reporting, and compliance documentation
- Direct parking garage restoration programs including condition assessments and repair design
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications
- Conduct site investigations and diagnose structural or envelope deficiencies
What They're Looking For
- RA or PE License in New York strongly preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in building envelope consulting, FISP, parking structures, or structural restoration
- Background in structural restoration or forensic engineering is highly valued
- Minimum 3 years of project leadership, including oversight of small teams
- Strong understanding of NYC codes, façade regulations, and restoration best practices
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations
