Overview
Our client, a well‑established national engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to support and lead land development projects throughout the Cleveland area. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with regional leadership on a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use developments.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and permitting for a variety of land development projects
- Oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion/sediment control
- Manage hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and prepare stormwater documentation (SWPPP)
- Support business development, client management, and proposal efforts
- Partner with leadership to manage workload, project delivery, and team growth
- Mentor staff and contribute to overall project and practice success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of local site/civil and land development experience
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong background in site design, stormwater, and permitting
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage clients and develop new relationships
- Strong communication, technical writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
