A well-established environmental and engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to join its team in either Pittsburgh, PA. This is a high-impact opportunity for a licensed P.E. with strong geotechnical and site/civil experience to lead projects, manage clients, and support the firm's continued growth across the Mid-Atlantic region.
What You'll Do:
- Manage geotechnical and site/civil engineering projects from concept through completion
- Perform geotechnical analyses including bearing capacity, slope stability, and slip repair
- Prepare proposals, reports, drawings, specifications, and budgets
- Lead and mentor technical staff, ensuring quality control and timely delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Oversee field investigations and interpret geotechnical instrumentation data
- Support business development and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
What You'll Bring:
- P.E. license in PA, NJ, or MD (required)
- 8-10 years of geotechnical engineering and project management experience
- Strong background in both geotechnical and site/civil engineering
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multidisciplinary project teams
- Proficiency in fieldwork, instrumentation, and data interpretation
