Structural Engineer - Mid Level
Locations: Portland, OR or Phoenix, Arizona
My client is looking for a mid-level Structural Engineers to join their Phoenix and Portland offices. This role is ideal for someone who's passionate about engineering, eager to expand their technical skills, and enjoys working on a wide variety of building types and project scopes.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to projects ranging from small-scale renovations to large, multidisciplinary developments.
- Design and analyze structures using concrete, steel, wood, and masonry across diverse industries.
- Mentor junior engineers and help guide their technical development.
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept through construction completion.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and project leads throughout the design and build process.
- Communicate directly with clients, municipalities, and other project stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 6-12 years expierence
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
- Structural Engineer (SE) license.
- Experience with commercial and industrial building design.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, ENERCALC.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow professionally in a dynamic environment.
