My client is an established structural engineering firm based in Tampa, they are involved in the design, analysis and construction of both new and renovation projects. They are seeking and experienced Structural Engineer to be able to join their firm and work in a fast-paced environment to provide the highest quality service to clients, as the firm prides themselves in.
About the role
The position requires the ability to conduct site inspections in addition to proficiency with structural design software and the ability to learn additional programs. The role involves the ability to operate independently as well as communicating clearly with both clients and interoffice team to collaborate on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient management of electronic job files from other design firms.
- Create accurate and detailed field installation drawings.
- Working from drawings, sketches or scanned images.
- Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Reading and interpreting of construction documents.
Qualifications
- Structural engineering and inspection experience (minimum 2 years)
- Experience in architectural drafting
- Degree in civil/structural engineering
- E.I.T required, PE license preferred
