Key Responsibilities:
- Lead forensic investigations into structural failures, deterioration, and performance issues in parking garages and similar concrete structures.
- Perform on-site assessments using advanced diagnostic tools, including NDT, corrosion mapping, and structural health monitoring systems.
- Analyze construction documents, design drawings, and historical data to identify causation and liability.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports, including repair recommendations and expert-level technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, legal professionals, and facility owners.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE license preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in forensic engineering, structural diagnostics, or concrete infrastructure assessment.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete behavior, deterioration mechanisms, and repair methodologies.
- Proficiency in field investigation techniques and structural analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical reporting.
