Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of transportation projects, including project planning, design, and delivery.
- Act as the lead coordinator between internal teams, clients, and WisDOT representatives.
- Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure all project work aligns with WisDOT standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams through technical challenges and design iterations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Contribute to engineering design efforts, particularly in roadway and structural elements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Professinoal Engineering Llicnesure in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, preferably with WisDOT-related projects.
- Strong familiarity with WisDOT processes, design manuals, and district operations.
- Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead collaborative teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
