Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of transportation projects, including project planning, design, and delivery.
  • Act as the lead coordinator between internal teams, clients, and WisDOT representatives.
  • Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure all project work aligns with WisDOT standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams through technical challenges and design iterations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to engineering design efforts, particularly in roadway and structural elements.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Professinoal Engineering Llicnesure in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, preferably with WisDOT-related projects.
  • Strong familiarity with WisDOT processes, design manuals, and district operations.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead collaborative teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Passion for infrastructure development and continuous learning.
