Our client, a Midwest-based employee-owned civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer to join their team as a Project Manager in Belleville, Illinois. Known for delivering innovative infrastructure solutions that strengthen communities, they emphasize collaboration, technical excellence, and strong client relationships.
Position Overview:
As Project Manager, you will work alongside industry experts on both local and large-scale projects across Illinois. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills and a passion for leading projects and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee transportation infrastructure projects from planning through delivery
- Develop and manage project scope, budgets, and schedules
- Prepare bid packages, construction documents, and detailed cost estimates
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design effective solutions
- Support proposal development and participate in business development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois and/or Missouri
- 6+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
