What You'll Be Leading
As General Superintendent, you'll provide overall leadership for field operations on large-scale aviation construction projects while serving as the key driver of project execution, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading all field operations from preconstruction planning through project closeout
- Developing project execution strategies, site logistics plans, and construction sequencing
- Directing Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners
- Driving schedule performance and ensuring milestone achievement
- Managing manpower planning, workforce productivity, and resource allocation
- Leading daily coordination meetings with project teams and trade partners
- Partnering with Project Executives and Project Managers to ensure operational success
- Identifying and proactively resolving field challenges before they impact project performance
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Building strong relationships with owners, airport authorities, consultants, and trade partners
Aviation Project Experience We're Looking For
Successful candidates will have experience leading large aviation construction projects such as:
- Airport Terminals
- Concourse Expansions
- Airside Improvements
- Landside Developments

- Baggage Handling Facilities

- Hangars and Maintenance Facilities

- Secure and Phased Construction Environments
Leadership Responsibilities
This is more than a project-level role.
You'll play a key role in developing the next generation of field leaders while helping drive operational performance across multiple projects and regions.
Responsibilities include:
- Mentoring Superintendents and field staff
- Supporting staffing and workforce planning initiatives
- Establishing best practices across project teams
- Supporting operational excellence initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
- Contributing to long-term field operations strategy
- Partnering with executive leadership on major project pursuits and execution planning
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of commercial construction experience
- 10+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience
- Proven success leading large-scale aviation construction projects
- Experience on projects exceeding $100M in value
- Strong background in airport construction and complex phasing requirements
- Ability to lead large project teams and multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in scheduling, logistics, safety, and project execution
- Experience with construction technology, scheduling platforms, and project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
