Role summary
An established US-based systems integrator is expanding its presence in Europe and is seeking an experienced Tridium specialist to support mission-critical facilities in Germany. This is a long-term relocation opportunity (3 to 5 years) with full visa sponsorship, offering exposure to complex, high-availability environments.
About the organisation
Role responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and deliver Niagara-based BMS solutions for critical facilities
- Develop and maintain Tridium Niagara N4 architectures, graphics, and integrations
- Commission and optimise systems to meet strict uptime and resilience requirements
- Interface with mechanical, electrical, and data centre infrastructure teams
- Lead or support on-site commissioning activities across European project sites
- Troubleshoot complex controls, network, and integration issues
- Integrate third-party systems using open protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
- Contribute to documentation, handover processes, and client training
- Support lifecycle improvements, system upgrades, and performance tuning
- Work collaboratively with US and European engineering teams on standards and delivery
Required experience and skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara N4
- Background in BMS or HVAC controls within critical or complex environments
- Proven experience in commissioning and system integration
- Understanding of control strategies for HVAC, electrical, and critical infrastructure systems
- Experience with open protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently on site
- Fluent English and ability to operate in an international project environment
- Willingness to relocate to Europe for a 3 to 5 year assignment
Additional or desirable experience
- Experience working on data centres or other mission-critical facilities
- Niagara certification (AX or N4)
- Exposure to network architecture, IP-based systems, and cybersecurity considerations
- German language skills
- Experience working with US-based engineering teams or standards
