A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on site development and utility projects. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong experience in grading, utilities, and overall site construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
- Supervise crews performing sitework, grading, and underground utility installation
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet schedules
- Read and interpret plans and specifications to guide execution
- Communicate with project management, inspectors, and clients
- Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in site development, utilities, or earthwork
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and grades
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- OSHA certification preferred
