We have a rewarding opportunity for a Water Resources Project Manager to work in our growing Water Resources group. We work with municipal clients on projects of all size, putting the client and the solution first - solving problems for people. Come start your career and join our team!
What your day-to-day will look like
- Work as a project manager and/or lead engineer on a project team for water resources projects throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
- Coordinate with municipal and other clients/potential clients regarding current and upcoming work.
- Preparation of proposals for new water resources projects.
- Analysis and Design of municipal stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, green infrastructure, etc.).
- Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Construction.
- Permitting with local, state, and federal permitting agencies.
- Develop Hydrologic and Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer and sanitary collection systems.
- Assistance with Drainage Studies and Stormwater Masterplans.
- Field work associated with Flood inspection and/or Construction Observation.
- Assistance with municipal permit review.
Education/Certification Requirements
- 4-year B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in water resources engineering preferred.
- Registered professional engineer license in the state of Wisconsin preferred.
Must-haves, what you will bring
- 6+ years of experience in the design of stormwater projects.
- Knowledge of basic principles of infrastructure design and plan preparation.
- Knowledge of the basic principles of hydrology and hydraulics.
- Experience with H&H modeling (ICM/ SWMM/HEC-RAS is preferred).
- Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D is preferred) and ArcGIS.
- Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction.
- Ability to travel throughout Southeast Wisconsin (less than 10% of time)
- Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Compensation: The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
