Water Treatment Operator
We're working with an exciting client who is expanding their team and looking for a Water Treatment Operator to support the delivery of innovative environmental and water treatment projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical aptitude and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and support the setup of water treatment systems across various project sites.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
- Maintain detailed records including daily logs, analytical results, and client reports.
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and plans to support operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with WHS standards and safe work practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in water treatment operations and maintenance.
- Trade or degree qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Environmental Science, Waste Management, or related engineering disciplines - or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of pumping, valving, chemical dosing, and process control systems.
- Familiarity with telemetry and remote monitoring systems.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English (spoken and written).
- High level of computer literacy and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Current driver's licence and White Card (or willingness to obtain).
