The Opportunity
We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Engineer (PE) to join our expanding water practice. This role will focus on the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, with opportunities to grow into senior technical or project management roles over time.
The position offers flexibility in work location, exposure to large and complex projects, and a clear development path for engineers looking to increase their technical responsibility and leadership impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering analysis and design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical memoranda, reports, plans, and specifications
- Support project delivery through planning, design, permitting, and construction support phases
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, regulators, and contractors
- Assist with cost estimates, schedules, and technical reviews
- Participate in internal quality control and design review processes
- Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and treatment technologies
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
- Experience in water and/or wastewater engineering, particularly treatment process design
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
