About the Opportunity:
A respected heavy civil contractor with a strong presence in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale infrastructure projects in the Seattle area. What You'll Do:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing heavy civil construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Track budgets, change orders, and project documentation.
- Support procurement and subcontractor management.
- Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.
Experience Needed:
- 2-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction or related field.
- Exposure to earthwork, utilities, bridges, or roadway projects preferred.
- Familiarity with construction documents, RFIs, and submittals.
- Understanding of cost control and scheduling principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
