A leading multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Manager to join its growing team of building science experts. As a Building Enclosure Project Manager, you'll lead the design, coordination, and execution of enclosure systems that meet the highest standards of performance, durability, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building enclosure projects from concept through construction
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop integrated, high-performance enclosure solutions
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and submittals for enclosure systems
- Conduct field investigations, performance testing, and quality assurance reviews
- Provide technical guidance on air, moisture, and thermal control strategies
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- 5+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting, design, or construction
- Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and construction practices
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and specifications
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
- Familiarity with ASTM testing standards and thermal/hygrothermal modeling tools (e.g., WUFI, THERM)
- Revit/BIM/SketchUp experience
- Scaffold certification and safety training
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
